Registering allows Disability Pride Parade NYC to share the most up-to-date parade information, including "bring the party to the parade" free arts making opportunities, street closures, or hazardous weather conditions.

Individuals are welcome to come solo! Sign up to march with a general disability pride community, or an "interest group" listed in the registration form.
If you do not receive your location by Tuesday, October 15th, please text 917-597-6617 or email disabilityprideparadepresident@gmail.com by Thursday, October 17th.
Those who are unable to attend in person are encouraged to participate in a live stream presentation of the event that will begin at 10:30 AM.
Lineup
Please see the Madison Square Park map and text map for specific details. Your section will be marked with a large section sign with the corresponding letter above your lineup area. Once you arrive at the parade, you are not required to sign in at any particular location, but only line up in your assigned section. There will be an information booth on Madison Avenue to direct individuals to their correct location if needed. All sections are required to line up at 10:00 AM. Please be on time so participants will not have a long wait – we’ll begin promptly. When the clock strikes 11:00 AM – we’re off!
Parade Route
The full parade route starts at East 26th Street and Madison Avenue and ends at Broadway and East 17th.
The Judges' Table will be at East 22nd and Broadway.

Meet up at on Broadway between East 22nd and East 21st Streets. We have a tremendous number of NYC students participating this year. Let's be present for our Next Generation Department of Education students!
200 Folding chairs will be located between East 22nd and East 21st Streets are limited in supply and can be reserved in advance using the parade form registration link.
Accessible Restrooms will be located on the street on Madison Ave between 25th and 26th streets as well as on East 17th street between Broadway and 5th Avenue.
The parade route is fully accessible. Accessible portable toilets, accessible water, wheelchair charging stations, and service animal relief areas will be provided.
For speeches, Communication Access Real-time Transcription (CART), American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, and FM System Technology will be provided.
To request additional accommodations, please send an email to disabilityprideparadepresident@gmail.com as soon as possible and at the latest by October 12th.
- Unless you have a need to rest as an accommodation, please keep the parade moving and do not stop moving for photos, conversation, or any other reason unless directed. There are thousands of people behind you who will need to stop as well.
- There will be several photographers/videographers from Disability Pride NYC, Project Access for All, Art Beyond Sight, the Mayor’s Office, and news outlets photographing the parade. By being present in the parade, you are granting your consent that photographs, video and/or voice recordings, and/or your biographical information can be used for print, television, radio, website and social media postings for the purposes of promoting Disability Pride NYC Parade, the City of New York, and Project Access for All, Art Beyond Sight and any other partner organization assisting the work of the Disability Pride NYC Parade.
-Finally, we want to share the 2025 Disability Pride NYC Parade with the world, and in order to do that, we need your help. On the day of the parade, please post any photos or videos of the parade with the hashtag #DisabilityPrideNYC

If you or anyone in your group requires Access-A-Ride Drop-off or Pickup, please call 1 - 877 - 337 - 2017 and press #2 to make a reservation. When doing so, you can make the following requests:
'Disability Pride Parade - Madison Square Park' (E 24th St between Madison and Park Avenues) for the starting point.
'Disability Pride Parade - Union Square Park' (E 15th St and Union Square West) for the pick-up location.
Madison Square Park (Start of the parade)
Subway Access: The nearby 6 train station at 23rd Street is accessible on both the uptown and downtown sides.
Bus Connections: M1, M2, M3, M55 and the M23 SBS buses.
Union Square Park (End of the parade)
Subway Access: The Union Square subway station is accessible for the NQR and L train lines. Be advised that the 456 line is not accessible.
Bus Access: If you are planning on taking a bus, the M1, M2, M3, M14A, and M14D make stops in the immediate vicinity of Union Square Park.
For additional accessible transportation assistance, refer to the MTA Trip Planner Website by putting in your location and checking the box for accessible trip.
The parade will take place on Sunday, October 20th.
10:00 AM - Parade line-up at Madison Square Park.

10:45 AM - Remarks for press by parade organizers, several citywide elected officials, and Grand Marshalls. As the greater parade-going community will be lined up for the parade at this time, the program will be repeated at 12:15 PM in Union Square.
11 AM - Parade's start time.
The route begins at Madison Square Park and proceeds down Broadway to Union Square Park, where participants can gather together and celebrate Disability Pride!
Along the parade route:
Community Viewing Area for people who are not marching: Broadway between 21st and 22nd Street. 200 folding chairs are available, but as they are in limited supply, they must be reserved in advance. Sign-up is within the parade registration form.

12:00 PM - Community gathering begins in Union Square Park
Tabling by organizations, corporations, and City Agencies, performances, and community engagement activities.
12:10 PM - Remarks by parade organizers, several citywide elected officials, and grand marshalls.
12 PM - 3 PM - Program in Union Square
When finalized, a detailed announcement of this program will be on this page of this site. Also, the program will be sent to groups and individuals who have registered.
