The Disability Pride Parade is built with disabled people and our communities at the center. City agencies are invited to work alongside the disability community to help build an accessible, welcoming, and joyful citywide celebration.
Ways City Agencies Can Participate

City agencies can participate by:
Contributing $150 toward tabling costs, or
Contributing $150 directly toward Parade access services, including ASL interpretation and live captioning.
Contributions can be made through:
March in the Parade
March in the Parade
City agencies are invited to:
March with banners, flags, and Disability Pride materials.
Join themed Parade blocks alongside disabled people, disability organizations, and other community partners.
Other Ways to Partner
Other Ways to Partner
City agencies can also:
Help design and create Parade floats, displays, or activities.
Provide volunteers on Parade day.
Share any communication on their social medias
Contribute resources that help expand access and participation.
Provide language access, translation, or other resources.
Work with disabled people and disability organizations to develop programming connected to the agency's work.
Share information, programs, services, and opportunities that are useful to disabled New Yorkers.
Listen to and learn from disabled New Yorkers about barriers they encounter and opportunities for greater access and inclusion.
Whether an agency marches, contributes resources, shares information, volunteers, or works alongside the disability community, every partnership helps build greater access, participation, and belonging—at the Parade and beyond.
