You don't have to donate—or march or roll in the Parade—to make a difference. There are many ways to support the disability community and help build the Parade.

Support Project Access for All

Project Access for All communities are seeking $140,455 in NYC City Council Speaker’s Initiative funding to help keep annual disability community events free, including the Disability Pride NYC Parade, Disability Unite Festival, and Disability Pride Month borough events.

You can help by:

• Contacting your City Council Member and asking them to support our initiatives and encourage Speaker Julie Menin to support it.

• Contacting Speaker Julie Menin to express your support.

• Sharing information and social media posts with your networks.

• Sharing our initiatives with your organization or community.

• Signing the community support form. (Coming soon.)

These actions are encouraged, not required. Organizations may participate in ways consistent with their own advocacy and government engagement policies.

Invite Others to Participate

Help bring more people and communities into the Parade:

• Share the Parade through social media, newsletters, email lists, and community networks.

• Personally invite friends, organizations, schools, businesses, and community groups to participate.

• Encourage others to march, roll, volunteer, donate, perform, or otherwise help build the Parade.

Volunteer

You don't need to join us on Parade day to volunteer. Disability Pride NYC relies on volunteers throughout the year to help with community outreach, fundraising, communications, accessibility, creative programming, and Parade planning.

Not every contribution has to be financial. In-kind donations of goods, services, supplies, or other resources can make a meaningful difference in helping us organize the Parade and support the disability community.
