There is limited space for 50 organizations, City agencies, and corporations to set up tables at the Disability Pride Block Party at Union Square. We will notify you by September 30 whether your application for a table has been accepted.
If your application is accepted, you may submit payment through:

A contribution to or sponsorship of the Disability Pride NYC Parade will not affect business dealings with the City or provide access to City officials.
If the Parade is cancelled due to hazardous weather, Disability Pride NYC will refund the portion of your payment that has not already been used for nonrefundable Parade expenses. Because some costs must be paid in advance, a full refund may not be available.
Because space is limited, applications will be considered based on:
An organization’s connection and accountability to disability communities
Disability-led leadership
The relevance and accessibility of the information, resources, or activities it will provide
Year-round service to disability communities
The range of communities represented at the Block Party
Financial capacity will not determine whether a nonprofit organization or City agency is selected. Contributions and in-kind support are appreciated but are not required for consideration.
This year, we are particularly interested in hosting City agencies seeking to connect with disability communities as they work to meet the goals of the five-year accessibility plans submitted to the NYC Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and in providing information about employment opportunities within their agencies.
The cost for nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and City agencies to table is $150. This is the actual cost of providing each booth with:
One tent
One table
One tablecloth
Two chairs
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and City agencies may instead bring their own table, chairs, tent, and tablecloth at no charge. Please indicate which option you are choosing in the application form.
A corporation that selects a sponsorship package will be guaranteed a booth at Union Square.
A public link to the sponsorship packages must be added here before publication.
If you do not have the financial capacity or staffing or volunteer capacity to have your own table and would like to share literature or meet community members at the Block Party, the Project Access for All–Disability Unite community consortium welcomes you to join its table.
This year, we invite all organizations and City agencies tabling at the Block Party to help amplify the message of the Parade by:
Sharing with their email lists, newsletters, and social media that they plan to participate
Sharing information about their participation after the Parade
A map and an accessible text-based map of Union Square Park identifying the location of each organization’s booth will be available on this page before the Parade.
Booth contents must be brought to Union Square Park on the morning of the Parade before 10:30 AM.
If you are bringing materials by vehicle, please approach 17th Street from Park Avenue. Parade staff will direct you to an unloading area. After unloading, the vehicle must be removed from the area, and you will be responsible for finding parking.
Tables, tents, chairs, displays, and materials must remain within the assigned booth area and may not block accessible routes.
Table participants should provide information in accessible formats whenever possible and work with the Parade accessibility team to support effective communication with attendees.
American Sign Language interpreters will be available at Booth #1 to support communication among attendees and table representatives who use ASL.
