Accessibility is central to the Disability Pride NYC Parade. The Parade route is wheelchair accessible. Accessible portable toilets, accessible water stations, an adult-size changing table, a quiet area, and a service-animal relief area will be available without an advance request.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART), and audio description will be available for the opening remarks and Disability Pride Block Party program. The registration form asks several optional questions to help us understand how participants will use these services and what will provide effective access.

Some supports require advance planning:

• Requests for DeafBlind access support, sighted-guide assistance, wheelchairs for navigating the Parade route, an on-site CART display, and other individualized access arrangements should be submitted by September 30, 2026.

• Accessible seating should be reserved through the registration form by October 5, 2026.

Requests made after these dates are still welcome. The Parade team will work directly with participants and make every reasonable effort to provide effective access, although fulfillment may depend on the time and resources needed to make the arrangements.

Please use the access section of the registration form for the complete list of available supports, planning questions, deadlines, and accommodation requests. You do not need to identify individuals or disclose anyone’s disability.

Please do not submit access accommodation requests by email or phone.

If you have a new request after registering, please resubmit the form, identify it as an access update for the same organization, provide the organization’s name, and complete only the questions related to the new request.
